Terrence Howard has requested a restraining order against his ex-wife.
The divorce of actor Terrence Howard does not seem to happen in a friendly manner, as he asked the court to issue a restraining order against his ex-wife, reports Starpulse.
Howard's wife, Michelle Ghent, has filed for divorce in February, just weeks after their first wedding anniversary.
Earlier this month in Los Angeles, a judge granted her a protective order after she accused her ex-husband to have abused during their marriage.
It's now the turn of Howard to appeal to the Superior Court of Los Angeles to obtain a restraining order against Ghent.
In the documents he filled, he accuses her of being moved from a "nice and friendly person ... a monster."
A hearing is scheduled for 17 January to hear both sides on this issue.
The couple was married January 21, 2010, to fifty guests only, at the Los Angeles restaurant Cecconi. However, they kept their marriage secret until May, until the Cannes Festival.
In 2005, Terrence Howard had separated from his first wife, Lori McComma. The couple had three children, Aubrey, Heaven and Hunter.
