Yesterday the news spread like an oil slick all over the internet, Jon Bon Jovi would have died. The singer had died of a heart attack while staying at a hotel in New Jersey and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Rest assured it is in fact a hoax in very bad taste. The leader of Bon Jovi was actually in the area to perform at a charity concert. On hearing the news of his death, the rocker who does not lack humor and mania probably more subtle than some users immediately reassured his fans. Jon Bon Jovi has posted a picture of him via twitter, on which he holds a sheet that says "Heaven is very similar to New Jersey", followed by the date, "December 19, 2011."
Jon Bon Jovi is not the first star to be a victim of this kind of delayed April fools that stir the web. Like him, Lady Gaga , Will Smith and Eddie Murphy are supposed to be dead over the last twelve months. More recently it is the group Muse has supposedly separated after an argument in the studio.
Fortunately, Jon is alive because he's cut out for Christmas Last October the singer launched his own restaurant associations, The Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen, where everyone pays what he can or exchange against food services. With the holidays approaching, the restaurant will not always full.
