The husband of Katy Perry, Russell Brand, has signed a contract to host late night new TV series on FX.
British actor Russell Brand will host late night new TV series, during which he will give "his views clear and unfiltered about current events, politics and culture", and this for the U.S. network FX.Vice President at the direction of the FX programming Nick Grad, said: "We are very excited to add the amusing voice, original and honest from Russell Brand, FX comedy programming."
Grad looked forward to see what Brand will create with his partner, Troy Miller, to transform the basis of this issue into something "bold and without filter for hearing FX."
For his part, Russell Brand says his excitement was at his peak on this new project, to be broadcast from next spring.
The contract includes six 30-minute episodes, which will be recorded live before an audience that will interact with Russell Brand and participate in the program.
