Kate Winslet would have again been invited to the home of Necker Island Sir Richard Branson, after escaping a huge fire on her last visit.
The Virgin tycoon has offered Kate Winslet and her new boyfriend, Ned Rocknroll, whos is Richard’s nephew, to celebrate Christmas and New Year on his private island, where they met last summer when a fire broke out in the house where the actress was staying.
The star of 36 years was on vacation with her two children, Mia, 11, and Joe, age 7, when the fire broke out. She even saved from the flames the mother of 90-year-old mum.
A source said: "Richard has invited Kate winslet and the children to again thank for the courage she showed in saving his mother."
Branson is rebuilding the house that burned to the marriage of his daughter, Holly, later this month.
Kate Winslet had compared the time she escaped the flames of the fire to a "dramatic chapter in a movie."
She adds, "I'm just glad that everyone is holy and safe. It could easily have happened otherwise. "
Winslet started dating his nephew, Richard Branson in the weeks that followed that evening.
