Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
Romance drama title ‘Safe Haven’ based on bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks has no doubt about the quality.

Hollywood had filmed several stories. The Notebook, Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, Dear John and The Last Song are some film adaptations of his novels were quite successful competing in the Box Office.

However, because the stories are likely the same in each heading, many doubt that the latest film adaptation, Safe Haven will meet the same fate. It's trying to be clarified by the main actor, Josh Duhamel.

To Collider, Duhamel said the film has a different plot and story compared to the previous movies of Sparks. "You definitely would compare it to The Notebook or Dear John or some other tale. I do not want to think about it. We know this film. We do not want to fall into the same trap. "He explained.

"Obviously, there will be some similarities but we want to make our own story, so forget that this is Nicholas Sparks’ film." He added.

Furthermore, the star New Year's Eve and Transformers is hoping movie lovers can love the romantic drama ‘Safe Haven’. "If people like it, that's good." Duhamel added.

In the film, Duhamel  is playing the character of Alex Wheatles, the lover of Katie Feldman, played by Julianne Hough. The film will be released on Valentine's Day, 14th Feb 2013.
