Anne Hathaway Star in Shakespeare 'Taming of the Shrew'
Les Miserables star, AnneHathaway will again star in a comedy film adaptation of Shakespeare's TheTaming of the Shrew. Talented actress who just won a Golden Globe in 2013 for Best Supporting Actress category was rumored to have signed a contract for the project.


Less than three days time that Anne Hathaway (30) has won a "Golden Globe" for her role in "Les Miserables". And the next starring role is coming. The actress landed the main part in the remake of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" as the British newspaper "The Sun" reported.

The screenplay was written by Abi Morgan, who previously wrote the screenplay Shame and The Iron Lady. Morgan will change the background story to the mid-20th century in Italy, as reported by The Sun, recently.

The Taming of the Shrew is a comedy drama which written by Shakespeare around 1590, and several times adapted for stage and screen plays.

A similar story was filmed in 1999 titled 10 Things I Hate About You. This film is more modern, the story of a man who tries to convince a stubborn woman to marry him, played by Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles.
