Snowmobile driver crash, Caleb Moore died of his serious injuries from a tragic accident in an event of the Winter X Games, held in Aspen (Colorado / USA). He was only 25 years old.
The Winter X Games in Aspen will be overshadowed by a tragic death. Freestyle snowmobile pilot Caleb Moore, who is last Thursday brought to the hospital after a dramatic crash succumbs to his injuries a week later. Moore won four medals in his career at the X-Games.
Thus, the American snowmobile driver, Caleb Moore is the first fatality in the history of the Winter X Games, which are held annually since 1997 and are considered the Olympics of extreme and trend sports. Moore had lost during a backflips, a reverse rotation with snowmobile jump in to take control of his vehicle. During the landing, he came under the 200-kilogram vehicle.
"This morning Caleb is gone from us, we will miss him and never forget", shared his family with a spokesperson, adding. "We want to thank you for all the prayers and well wishes"

After the fall, he could still walk away with on his own feet. Only during the later examination in the hospital, it was found that Moore had suffered internal bleeding, heart and brain. Emergency surgery could prolong his life for a few days.
In a statement, the organizer said, "Even if the world's best compete in a professional sport always remain risks. Moore was a four-time X Games medallist, who has tried a trick that he had previously landed already,”

Moore's family and the X-Games community are deeply shocked by the incident. For the family, it could even have been worse. Caleb's younger brother, Colton, started in the same event and also crashed. He suffered a separated pelvis in the spill.
